Windermere station is a 30,000 acre working cattle station owned by Andrew and Emma Forster.

The station is situated just 15kms from Winton Queensland, right in the heart of Waltzing Matilda Country where the Dinosaurs once roamed.
While on your journey, call in and stay a night in the outback, caravans and camping are most welcome and It's a very family friendly place to be!

Spending time on an authentic Australian station is necessary to fully experience the outback. You'll learn about the history of this part of Australia and experience the wide open spaces.

Experience the Animals here on the station, the commercial herd of Brahman cattle, our Quarter horses, and all the family pets from the dogs to the chooks... and even our pet pig!

Most of the time we have poddy's also that were orphaned for one reason or another, you will get the chance to get hands on and feed them and learn how and why they are hand raised.
